This lovely 9,000 Sq. ft. food forest in the hill county of central TX is set up with passive water retention earthworks. A series of 7 small swales sit on contour capturing water in rain events and passively rehydrating the food forest. There are 43 fruit, nut, and medicinal trees planted in this space, all planted with guilds and support plants. The area was then seeded with wildflower and pollinator seed mix.
